Furnace War Guide

A simple guide to attacking and defending a Furnace. Stay coordinated, follow leadership instructions, and support the Hive.

01

⚔️ Attacking a Furnace

Prepare together, move quickly, and keep pressure on the target.

Before the battle

  • Activate your shield before the battle begins. Remove it only when instructed to attack, and reactivate it after the battle.
  • Prepare Advanced Teleports in advance.
  • Follow the agreed roles and positions. If you will be online during reset, tell leadership so attackers and position holders can coordinate.
  • Watch alliance chat and follow instructions from R4/R5.

Protect the War Leader

The War Leader needs to survive the three-minute preparation period before the missile launches. A designated group should protect them and prevent the enemy from interrupting the launch.

Watch for system messages and share the enemy War Leader’s coordinates in alliance chat when required. React quickly: if the enemy War Leader’s base is displaced or breached during preparation, the missile launch can be interrupted.

Coordinate attacks and teleports

  • Use synchronized attacks at the agreed time. Do not attack independently or too early.
  • After the missile launches and the contested zone appears, move into available positions quickly using Advanced Teleports.
  • Keep attacks coordinated and effective. If the garrison holds, regroup and attack together again.
  • Coordinate position swaps so that spaces remain occupied and rotations happen smoothly.

Keep going until the objective is complete

Damaging the enemy Furnace is not enough if the objective is to destroy it completely. Do not stop too early. Keep applying pressure and coordinate attacks to break through the garrison.

The number of individual attacks matters less than their effectiveness. A synchronized team attack is more useful than scattered individual attacks.

If the battle ends quickly

If you still need points, look for other appropriate ways to earn them. Always check that a target is not an ally or part of your faction before attacking. Healing wounded troops and training troops may also earn points.

Quick attack checklist
  • Shield plan understood
  • Advanced Teleports ready
  • Roles and positions coordinated
  • Alliance chat monitored
  • Attacks launched together as instructed
  • Shield reactivated after the battle
02

🛡️ Defending a Furnace

Hold positions, reinforce continuously, and respond quickly.

Hold your positions

Stay in assigned positions before and during the battle. Avoid unnecessary teleports or leaving useful spots near the Furnace: the enemy may take them. This is especially important for strong players and those positioned close to the Furnace.

Check war declarations and be prepared for more than one attacking alliance. Follow leadership instructions about allies and defensive assignments.

Watch for the missile

Watch World Chat, system messages, and war information for the enemy Warlord Missile notification. During the approximately three-minute preparation period, share the coordinates in alliance chat immediately so the designated players can respond.

If the missile hits, it creates a 25×25 Contaminated Land zone. Bases inside are forcibly relocated, and a new shield cannot be activated while inside the zone. Follow R4/R5 instructions, regroup quickly, and return to important positions where possible.

Shields and safety

When a battle falls on a shield-required period, shields are mandatory. Check when your shield expires and set an alarm if needed. Do not assume it is still active, and avoid trips that could leave your base or position exposed.

One forgotten shield can create a problem for the whole defense.

Keep the Furnace reinforced

Keep troops inside the Furnace whenever possible. The Furnace can be reinforced by up to 100 marches, so continuous reinforcement helps prevent the enemy from breaking through.

  • When a march is knocked out, send the next suitable march.
  • Watch your marches and send them back when they return, if the situation allows.
  • If the garrison is falling quickly, increase the speed of replenishment.
  • Do not wait for a separate command for every march; watch the battle and react while following the agreed strategy.

Choose marches wisely

Stronger, well-developed accounts may support the Furnace with two or three marches, depending on their strength. Other players should prioritize their strongest march, and send a second only if it is also well developed.

There is no need to send all three just for the numbers. One strong march is better than several weak ones that can be knocked out easily.

Online activity and teamwork

  • Stay online and remain in assigned positions.
  • Help deal with the Warlord when assigned.
  • Have designated players monitor shields, buffs, and ruins.
  • Keep the Furnace garrison reinforced and rotate marches quickly.
  • Do not panic after a missile strike.
  • Follow R4/R5 commands and keep communication clear.
The key principle

We do not need to win every individual attack. We need to prevent the enemy from breaking the Furnace defense. If they attack, reinforce. If marches are knocked out, send new ones. If the missile hits, regroup quickly. Do not play as individuals — coordinated alliances are stronger.

Our Furnace — our responsibility. We defend it together. ❤️🔥
